During the summer holidays, Sophie and Cleo along with members of extended family climbed, walked, ran & buggied (!!!) 25k & 10k for the south west challenge, trekking the steep Exmore climbs. We particularly enjoyed the event organiser’s reaction when we crossed the finish line with the buggy! We like to think that our varied programme and focus on Physical development at Downside Nursery helped to prepare us for the challenge! 

Fortunately we arrived at the finish line just in time for an ice cream from the van… and a celebratory glass of bubbly, which was a welcome treat for us all. 

We are so proud that collectively, not only did we each finish the course, we raised a huge amount of money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association charity.
